The families we serve are always our top priority. During confusing and concerning times such as the COVID-19 pandemic, we want to assure you that we closely monitor and following all guidelines from the CDC, Provincial and National Health Authorities, and our Provincial and National Funeral Associations.

As of Tuesday, March 1, 2022 the Government of Manitoba has lifted all funeral gathering capacity limits. As of Tuesday, March 15th we will be following public health orders and will no longer require the general public to wear a mask in our facility. Masks will be made available if you wish to wear one while visiting our office and chapel.

We have set in place measures to help protect and accommodate the elderly and members of the public. We will make every effort to accommodate families in making arrangements and conducting services in any capacity needed to ensure their safety and comfort while honouring their loved one.

Arrangements can be made remotely, either online or by teleconference.

We have the capability of mobile live-streaming a funeral service from any location, church, venue, or cemetery you choose, and as always, at our Brockie Donovan Chapel. We encourage leaving online messages of condolences to the family by accessing the obituary page of the loved one here on our website.

In an effort to minimize direct contact, we ask that you consider avoiding shaking hands or physical contact with the members of the family or other guests. Direct eye contact, loving words, and a warm smile can be as meaningful to the families as a traditional handshake or hug, especially during these difficult times.

We will be providing hand sanitizer stations throughout our facility and have enacted enhanced cleaning in all public areas.

For over 107 years Brockie Donovan has been a trusted name in this community and today we stand by ready to help. We plan to remain open and will respond with professionalism, care and compassion in our mission to help families as they grieve and celebrate life.
