My brother Bob mentioned to me a couple of weeks ago that Wayne had passed away. Wayne & I, and a group of friends (Orville White) used to hang around together in the late 60's and early 70's. We had a lot of fun. We lived on 23rd Street, just a couple of blocks from Wayne's place on 22nd.

My deepest sympathies to your family. I was shocked to recently learn of Wayne's passing. My Mother was in his care on the 5th floor at Fairview. I'm sure this must have been very trying at times. He was one of the kindest and gentlest, helping these folks thru their confused days. Wayne was there for a shoulder to lean on the day my Mom passed away a couple months ago. I really appreciated his support that day.

I Just arrived in Brandon on Nov15th to visit with my Mom and my brothers Darryl and Kelvin....as soon as we got inside the house my Mom handed me a picture of a good friend of mine from many years ago...i was sad to see that the picture was of Wayne Stocki...in the obituary. our lives went in different directions at some point...i cant even remember the year that it happened....but i do remember that if any person was lucky enough to spend time with Wayne as i did.....they were having a good time and plenty of laughs...all the time! Rest well my friend...all the people who came into your life are sad that you have moved on just as i am today...See you later my old friend...."KEEP SMILING"

I was deeply shocked and saddened to hear about Wayne's passing. He was a caregiver (an understatement in Wayne's case) when my husband was in Fairview and I admired him and respected him for the tender, loving care he gave each resident. My sincere sympathy to all of you at this sad time.
