It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Donald Sigurd Fjeldsted of Brandon, Manitoba at the age of 81. Donald passed away peacefully on December 25, 2024, surrounded by family at the Brandon Hospital.
Donald was born in Brandon, Manitoba on May 7, 1943, to Dr. Fridrik Fjeldsted and Jonina Fjeldsted (Landy). He was predeceased by his parents and his older brother Fredrick Fjeldsted.
Donald will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 52 years, Lois Fjeldsted and his son Erik Fjeldsted, along with many other family members and friends.
A Celebration of Donald’s life will be held on May 7, 2025, on what would have been his 82nd birthday. The time and location of this event will be announced at a later date.
