Lynol Clarence Teetaert

Lynol passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, February 19, 2025 at the age of 69 after a short battle with cancer. 

 

Lynol was born in Deloraine, MB March 14, 1955, he was the youngest of 4 children born to David & Claudette Teetaert.  Lynol grew up on the family farm near Medora where he attended primary school followed by high school in Deloraine.  After graduation Lynol took over the family farm and farmed for twenty-seven years.  He moved to Brandon in 2001 where he continued to work in the agricultural industry as a parts personnel at Penner Farm Service where he became the manager of the Brandon location in 2007.  Lynol worked as the manager until 2016 when his health forced him to retire.

 

During his retirement he loved to do a bit of travelling, watch grandchildren’s activities, go camping, attend Wheat King hockey games and just generally enjoy the simple things in life.

 

Lynol’s memory will be cherished by his wife Donna, his daughters Penny (Tom) Cannon, Jodie (Todd) Andrews and their children Matthew, Michael & Darcy.  Step-sons Brad (Stephanie) Gosseye and their children Wyatt & Mikaela, Darryl Gosseye (Candace Parker) and Darryl’s children Aubrey & Graydon.  His sister Dolores (Wayne) Howden, brothers Dennis (Kathy) Teetaert and Larry (Sharron) Teetaert.  His mother-in-law Gerry McMannis, Sisters-in-law Joyce (Bruce) Lounsbury, Bev Dupasquier and brother-in-law Garry (Jackie) McMannis. Along with numerous nieces and nephews.  Lynol was predeceased by his parents David & Claudette Teetaert and his brother-in-law Bert Dupasquier.

 

A special Thank-you is extended to Dr. Tyler Tegg, Dr. Brady Anderson and the staff at Home Care and Palliative Care for the care and attention we received during Lynol’s brief illness.

 

A celebration of Lynol’s life will be held at the Victoria Inn, Grand Salon, 3550 Victoria Ave. on Saturday, March 1, 2025 at 2:00 p.m.

 

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in memory of Lynol to the Canadian Cancer Society, 55 St Clair Ave W, Suite 300, Toronto, ON, M4V 2Y7 or to a charity of your choice.
