Obituary of Maxine Bryan

Maxine E. A. Bryan passed away peacefully at the Brandon Regional Health Centre on Monday, August 25, 2025 at the age of 86 years.

Maxine loved doing puzzles, landscape painting, needle crafts of all types as well as other crafts. Over her adult life, Maxine loved and doted on her five cats, Tuffy, Misty, Jazz, Patches and Puff.

Maxine will be lovingly remembered by her son Brent (Mary) Nicol, daughter Debbie (Colin) Cassidy and grandson Bryan Cassidy.  She was predeceased by her parents Robertson and Mayme Rookes; brothers Earl, Ron and Doug Rookes and sister Shirley Campbell.

In keeping with Maxine’s wishes no memorial service or celebration of life will be held.

The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to all the staff at the BRHC Palliative Care Unit and Fairview Personal Care Home for the wonderful care that Maxine received.
