Obituary of Richard Lambert
Richard Lambert
May 21, 1947 - October 13, 2025
We are incredibly saddened to announce the passing of Richard Lambert.
Richard was born in Winnipeg and then lived in various locations in Manitoba as was in care after the passing of his parents.
For the past 23 years we were so fortunate to have Richard with us in Family Visions.
Richard was a vibrant soul who thrived on connection. He embraced a relaxed lifestyle, finding joy in the comforts of home or helping in the office of Family Visions where he loved to be, and we valued his assistance immensely.
People were very drawn to Richard. You never had to guess how he was feeling…. if he was upset, tired, sad or pleased he would make it known. He had a lighthearted sense of humour, which brought many people an incredible amount of joy. Richard had a love for birthdays and Christmas like no other and would plan for months for both celebrations.
Richard liked children and they could sense that and would engage happily with him. Coming from a large family, he had space for many in his life. Richard is survived by 2 brothers Paul and George.
There is an incredible void without Richard in our lives. Since 2002 Richard has always been with us. Joking, laughing, questioning things, and asking for hugs. We are all better people having known this gentle, caring man, and for having the honor of helping him live a good life. In reality ……it was Richard helping all of us.
