Obituary of Maurice Stewart

Maurice Glen Stewart passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 10, 2026 at the age of 93 years. 

Known for his smile, a twinkle in his eye and appreciating a good chat whenever presented with an opportunity to do so, dad’s life was centered around the love and care he provided for his family. 

Dad is survived by his wife of 70 years, Norma, son Scott and wife Janet, step grandchildren Nico (Aubrey), Daniel (Julia) and great grandson Aviel, daughter Jill and husband Simon, grandchildren Liam and Laura.

Dad had the gift for living in the moment, embracing life with clarity, peace and joy. 

He will be dearly missed by his family, cherished nieces, nephews and friends. 

The family has chosen to celebrate dad’s life privately at a later date. 

Our sincere gratitude to the staff of the Neepawa Hospital and the Erickson Personal Care Home for their care of dad in his final days.
