Sincere condolences to Holly, Craig , Melanie and families. Your mom was a beautiful lady, who i meet when she looked after the flowers for the church. Your mom was always so happy and I was so fortunate to know her. I loved design her flowers that you would send her. We always had a good chat. Thinking of you and sending my sympathies.

I don't know you guys as well as I knew your Mom and Dad. My family including parents (Dick & Nora Parker) were also strong supporters of St. Matthew's Church and we all grew up within it's walls. Your Mom was great friends with my Mom, in both Altar Guild and the choir. Condolences to you all during this time.

Amy was always a charming lady whenever she would shop at the drugstore starting some 20 years ago and later our conversations over the phone for her seniors day order. I miss talking with her but I know she is happy with God. Rest easy Amy. My sincere condolences to her family.

Thanks for your lovely comment Val. You and Betty were the best at filling orders and finding the special things on her list. The Super Thrifty staff in general have been a wonderful support for Mom. Not sure where how we would have managed without the great guys at Home Health. (0:

Dear Holly and Craig,
I am so sorry that I will not be able to attend Amy's farewell. I am in Houston visiting Sarah and family (you will remember her,Holly.)
Amy was a grand lady and I was proud to call her my friend. She walked me through the duties of Altar Guild when I first joined and we worked together on many occasions. She even thought my lemon pies were the greatest! Over the years, Amy was a pillar of St. Matthew's and even after she could no longer attend, she kept in touch and was the " flower lady" for Altar Guild. She will be missed.
I am sorry for your loss both of you and your families. I know she was so proud of you and delighted in telling us about your adventures. Hold tight to your memories of both your Mum and Dad-- they become more precious as years pass.
Love and blessings,
Jean Curtis

Thank you for your very kind words Mrs. Curtis. Mom did love the Cathedral and the special folks she met became
friends for life. Enjoy your visit with Sarah. I remember both the girls very well… as much from the Y as the Cathedral. You are right, she raved about “Jean Curtis’s lemon meringue pies””!!! xx

Dear Holly:
Condolences and prayers on the loss of your lovely mother. She was always so pleasant, friendly and proud of her family. May her beautiful soul rest in peace; may she be welcomed in the Heavenly Jerusalem; may she hear the words of Christ: " Well done good and faithful servant".
