Donna Joan Lawson
March 1st 1956 – April 10th 2026
It is with great sadness and heavy hearts we announce the passing of Donna Lawson; who on Sunday, May 10, 2026 passed away at the Brandon Regional Health Centre with her family by her side.
Donna was born March 1, 1956 in Winnipeg, Manitoba where she spent the majority of her life before moving to Brandon in 1993 where she lived a full life with her husband and children.
Donna was predeceased by her parents Fredrick and Linda Frost (Olson) and her elder sister Cheryl Frost. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 52 years David Lawson, her four children Roberta Lawson (Ken), Curtis Lawson (Mike), Jennifer Lawson, and Kristen Lawson, her four grandchildren, Serena Sweeney, Connor Sweeney, Aiden Lawson and Kaylynn Lawson as well as her remaining sibling and other family friends and loved ones.
Donna worked for Superstore for over 30 years. She was a face that was forever recognized even when going elsewhere, someone always seemed to remember her from behind the customer service counter. She loved to travel, spending her 50th wedding anniversary in England with her husband as well as enjoying trips to Twin Beaches and Grand Beach. Most often the things that brought her the most joy was as simple as a Sunday roast surrounded by family at their dinner table.
In honour of her wishes, a funeral will not be held, however a come and go memorial service will be held in the future to allow for family and friends to share stories and remember the special person that she was.
She leaves behind a life time of love and memories that will not soon be forgotten. In her memory donations may be made to the Manitoba Lung Association.
