Obituary of Michael Trent Hatch

It is with a heavy heart that we announced the passing of Michael Trent Hatch who passed away peacefully with his family by his side on June 25, 2026 at the Brandon Regional Health Centre. 

Trent was born on March 20, 1964 and was one of three boys growing up, living in both the Virden and Killarney Manitoba areas. Trent is a cancer survivor, father of two and was able to watch both of his kids graduate before his passing. 

Trent is survived by his children, Skye (Landon), Brayden (Zenlei), mother Dorene, brothers Darrell, and Bob, as well as his nieces, nephew and extended family. Trent is pre-deceased by the mother of his children Carrie Shields, and his father Gary Hatch.

A celebration of life will be planned by the family at a later date to honour the late Michael Trent Hatch.
