My deepest sympathies to Shirley's family. I worked in the Arts Faculty Office where Shirley kept our office spotless. There was a special chair in our office, where people often sat to take a break from their responsibilities. Shirley would breeze in, sit down in that chair, look at each of us, in turn, and throw out a direct question in her outspoken way. Most times the question was about relationships but I remember one time, she got us, and the whole faculty going on 'What are the seven wonders of the world?' And of course, then, the 'Seven Modern Wonders of the World.'
Shirley had many questions about life. She will be missed.
