Ann and I wish to extend our condolences to you and your families. Uncle Don was blessed with a wonderful long life with his loving family.
I have fond memories as a child of entering the saw shop through the furnace room into a world of clutter and pipe smoke. Uncle Don would be standing at the front counter chatting with one of his customers probably hours on end. In the later years when coming home from Alberta I always enjoyed seeing what projects that Uncle Don and Del were creating. It always AMAZES me how inventive and ingenious my Clark Uncles could be. It always makes me proud.
Uncle Don could always be counted on to give Del, Sandy and me a ride to school when it was forty below. Frig it was cold during those Manitoba winters in the 60's.
Those years were always fun at Christmas when the clan would arrive at Grandpa's house. The fun would start with my Uncles and Aunt Pearl breaking out the instruments. Uncle Don would be playing his banjo or a fiddle along with Bud or Harold.
Don and Dorothy always made the trek to the Clark Reunions and I aways looked forward to sharing stories. I will miss that!
Terry, Ann Marie, Cassidy and Madison
