Marsha and I first met at work. She was my boss, then she became my best friend. She attended every kid's birthday party and holiday dinner for 15 yrs as part of my family, and she welcomed me into hers. We shared a love of animals and old music. Marsha always thought it was the right thing to do when I rescued just one more stray animal. After I moved to BC, we did not see each other very much. But Marsha has always remained in my heart and always will. I am thankful that I was able to spend some time with her while I was in Brandon this summer. I love her very much. My thoughts are with Peter and the family.

Marsha has been a part of my life for many years. First she became my boss, then best friend/surrogate Mom. She did not miss a kid's birthday party or holiday dinner for almost 15 years, and she welcomed me into her family in return. We shared a mutual love of animals and Tom Jones. We did not get to see each other very much after my move to BC, but she has always remained in my heart. I am very glad I was able to spend some time with her this summer while I was in Brandon. My thoughts are with the family and Peter.

When I first came to Canada in 1996, Marsha was the one who took me under her wings. I always called her my "Canadian Mom". My father-in-law once said: if you can count your true friends on one hand, you are a lucky person. Marsha was one of them. I am so thankful that I was able to spend numerous hours with her and Peter on the golf course playing the game we all loved. Working together in a office was never challenging. You knew what she expected. Work hard and be honest. I learned so much from her and I feel blessed that I was able to spend my years in Canada with her.Thank you. My condolence to the family and her closest friend Peter. Silky

I was very sad to hear of Marsha's passing. I have so many good memories of Marsha and the good times we girls had, growing up together in Brandon in the fifties and sixties. Mostly, I remember how much we laughed when we were all together, and Marsha was usually at the centre of all the fun. Rest in peace, Marsha. You will be dearly missed. Condolences to the family.

Mellissa, I was deeply saddened to hear of your mom's passing. My thoughts and prayers will be with you and Scott, Jaxton and Calli throughout this week as you grieve and as you remember her life. I have so many memories of your mom and the time I spent at your house. I always appreciated her honesty and her strength. She made me laugh and I always felt welcomed in your home, even long after our growing up years. My thoughts are also with your extended family and Peter as they mourn this loss as well. Please call me this week if there is anything I can do for you while you are in Brandon.
Marsha, I will miss you!
