To Lynn's Family, How very sorry we were to hear of your Mum;s unexpected passing and our friendship and sympathy go out to you all. Your family was always special to the Baskier family and our family have many happy memories of times spent at the Stowe home. Also your family were such good friends to Gerald and your Mum took great care of him over the years. She was such a caring person and was the first to offer her home in Miniota to us when we were home to Tom's funeral, as well as the invite was there at any time. She will be greatly missed but your wonderful memories will last a lifetime. Altho we can't be there on the 6th of June you will be in our hearts and minds. In friendship and sympathy, Ken and Betty Baskier
I am not on facebook so have asked my granddaughter to send this. BB

I began my nursing career in 1976 at Birtle hospital, even though I only worked there for 3 yrs before moving on, I have many fond memories of working with Lynn, especially those night shifts. She had an awesome sense of humour and she was the type of nurse you would want looking after you. So sorry for your loss Jan Trinder (Maryniuk)

Our deepest sympathy to all of you! Your mum had a heart of gold and was always willing to help someone who needed it! She was so great to Mary and Joe and always willing to drive to appointments or help them anyway they needed. She always seemed to have company and thought nothing of feeding the masses! May you treasure all the happy memories you have of your mum and grandma - she was very proud of all of you and loved to share stories of your accomplishments. Wayne and Susan Poppel and family.

We received your news with great sadness this am. Our deepest sympathy to all the family. Lyndley grew up in Beulah and Birtle so has known Lynn pretty much all his life. I met her in 1961. The Cooley family home was warm and inviting. Lynn was a great cook. She had that Cooley charm that made you want to spend more time with her. She was also a wonderful friend and will be sadly missed by us. Any of the family that pass by our way in Surrey BC. Please stop in. We would be very happy to see you.
