I knew and remember Kay through our connection with the art world. She was a feisty gal who did so much for the art world in Brandon. Her love for her husband and daughter was evident in our many conversations and art get-togethers. My sympathies to Kay's family and friends.

Somewhere in life one meets someone like Kay. I painted with her for years. She was an absolutely gifted oil painter. Get one of her paintings if you can. Most of all she was a genuinely decent person who cherished her family, looked after them in all situations, and respected the needs of others. She was very intelligent, a leader, a wonderful cook, and an excellent bridge player. I will miss her forever. May her soul rest in peace and God bless her for letting me be part of her life.

Kay came to 'help out' at the Nearly New shop years ago and help she did! Quick to aid, funny, kind and totally generous of herself to what ever was 'goin' on' at the time. she added fun and joy wherever she was. Sincere sympathy to All in your loss of this wonderful person. Irene Bergner

We were fortunate to share many wonderful times at the Prairie Oasis Art classes. She was a gifted artist and would not be afraid to show a person how to paint to make a picture look realistic with her ways of shading etc. She would reminisce the wonderful times she had with Alex (her husband) going to USA, being involed with St. Mary,s Church, going to Europe to Art shows . She had so many wonderful Memories. Cathy and Kay would go for lunches and Christmas would involve her making perohu and cabbage rolls for the family .We sure enjoyed her wonderful spirit and spunk to never give up. We will miss her. Joe and Marie Kay Our Sympathy to the family.

My Aunt was a very special person. I remember being quite young and having sleep overs at her place where we would spend hours making Ukrainian eggs with her. Also being invited to help out at ukrainian functions and being coat check at those functions. I will alway remember those special days
Will miss you
Love your niece Donna
