They say that angel walk this earth, and my sister Jen was one. She loved and cared for people more than herself, even during her final days she was always thinking of others and putting their needs above her own. She was funny, smart, beautiful, creative, kind and the best sister anyone could ask for. I was honored to be her sister and will never stop missing her for the rest of my life. This world has lost an angel, a bright and beautiful person who lit up every room with her presence. I love you Jenny.

Jennifer was quite a loud spirit. Everywhere she went her smile was always there to shine. I met her in grade 7 at Kirkcaldy Heights, and she had a lot of friends. Got to know her over the years going to Harrison School then off to Crocus Plains. Years went by and always happy to see her anywhere I'd bump into her in Brandon. Words can't describe my loss for words for losing an old friend. Condolences to the Keown family. Goodbye my friend, Jen.

Lil Jen Keown. What a beautiful soul. I have never nor will I ever meet such a bright, compassionate, caring person as yourself. The thought of never seeing that smile in person again is unspeakable. You touched so many people in ways that you don't even know. My heart goes out to your family, but know they must have some comfort knowing they have their own special Angel watching over them. Love and miss you so much already.

As a former patient I can testify that Jen ''lil Jen'' ,always treated me and others with respect and dignity..We would be so excited if we knew Jen was going to be working..She made patents feel important and special. Like she truly cared about each patient in her care..She was a bundle of energy who gave a darn about her job,not just the paycheck.Thank-you Jen for being so compassionate and for having that special'' spark''.

I worked with Jen at the hospital. I will always remember her as a hard worker, kind hearted and gentle. She had a boundless energy that made the rest of us look bad. She always gave a hundred per cent of herself to everyone who knew her. A bright and shining star has burnt out but our memories of her will forever remain

We met in the oddest place. Your huge smile brought me comfort. This place I've never been before. You kinda took me under your wing. Your positivity and words inspired me in ways I did not voice. Thank you for being you. I'll keep our first encounter in my heart.

Sending my condolences to Jen's family. I had the pleasure of working with Jen on A2, at the hospital. Her smile would light up each patient's room as soon as she walked in. She was a kind and compassionate soul, who will be greatly missed. She leaves behind a large void in her A2 family. Jen, May you rest in peace and may your bright light watch over us, as you go on, to your new journey. Your friend and co-worker, Cathy Westwood

To the Keown Family
I am so sorry for your loss. I worked with Jen at McDonald's many years ago. I will never forget that smile.Jen always wore it daily. She taught me that it was important to work hard but to make sure you were having fun. Jen was like gold . People like her do not come into your life everyday. She was someone that anybody that knew her treasured her. She had a heart of gold and will be missed dearly.
