Obituary of Peter Rusyn

RUSYN: Peter Rusyn of Brandon, passed away peacefully at his residence, Fairview Home, on Saturday, April 18, 2015 at the age of 89 years. Peter was born in Seech, Manitoba on May 15, 1925. Left to mourn his passing are his sister Martha Kwiatkowski, stepchildren Ed (Lyn) Salyn, Bill (Diane) Salyn, Iris Izewsky, Fran (David) Bebbington, step grandchildren, step great-grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Peter was predeceased by his wife Nellie (Salyn) in 2013, parents Alex and Rose, brothers Paul and John and sisters Annie and Sophie. Funeral Mass will be held at the Brockie Donovan Chapel, 332-8th Street, on Friday, April 24, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Fr. Michael Tkachuk officiating. Interment will follow at the Brandon Cemetery. Donations in memory of Peter may be made to a charity of choice.
