Obituary of Sally Domansky

DOMANSKY: Sally (née Yanda). Passed away peacefully on April 16th, 2015 at the Dinsdale Personal Care Home. Sally is survived by her sister Jean, daughters Deb (Jim) and Sandra, grandchildren Jennifer (Brad), Amanda (Ben), Kate, Dale and Elizabeth, as well as nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Stanley, mother Mary, father William, seven brothers and three sisters. Born and raised in Brandon, Manitoba, Sally enjoyed spending time with her family and friends in Brandon, Onanole, and Winnipeg. She bowled for many years as well as played shuffleboard, cribbage and card games. She also enjoyed cross country skiing and dancing. Sally took numerous trips to Riding Mountain National Park, and had some other wonderful adventures including Hawaii, Europe, Alaska, across Canada and through parts of the United States. Sally worked for the Victoria Order of Nurses, K-Mart, and Just Petite. She volunteered for the East End Community Centre and the gift shop at the Brandon General Hospital. She was a long time St. Hedwig's member and especially enjoyed singing in the choir. Sally was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Her delicious meals, enjoyment of wine and pizza parties, stories, laughter and conversations will truly be missed.
