Obituary of Marguerite Emma Buckmire

BUCKMIRE: Marguerite Emma Buckmire passed away peacefully after a short illness at her residence, Dinsdale Personal Care Home, on Sunday, July 26, 2015 at the age of 84 years. Marguerite worked at the Brandon General Hospital for over 25 years. She enjoyed music, movies, TV, traveling, eating out, walking, hiking, humbugs and car rides. Her favorite perfume was Oscar de la Renta. She loved her church and attended faithfully. Marguerite is survived by her sisters Louise and Kathleen, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. She was predeceased by her parents Leona and Ross and her brothers Ronald, Wally and Eddy. Prayers will be held at the Brockie Donovan Chapel, 332-8th Street, on Thursday, July 30, 2015 at 6:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Augustine's Roman Catholic Church, 327-4th Street, on Friday, July 31, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. with Fr. Michael Raj Savarimuthu as Celebrant. Interment will follow at the Brandon Cemetery. Donations in memory of Marguerite may be made to the Brandon Regional Health Centre Foundation, 150 McTavish Avenue East, Brandon, Manitoba, R7A 2B3.
