Obituary of Eva Deg

DEG: It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Eva Hannah Kathleen Deg (Olfrey) on Sunday, March 20, 2016. Eva leaves to mourn her children Mina (Fred) Laycock, Arvadell (Sydney) Egesz, Ian (Jackie) Deg, Daryl (Kathy) Deg, and Kevin (Erin) Deg; twelve grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and sister Nellie Thorne. She was predeceased by her husband John; two sons Dwight in 2010 and Arthur in infancy; and brother-in-law Stan Thorne. A Time of Remembrance and Celebration will be held at Calvary Temple, 620-34th Street, on Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Gary Jennings officiating. Interment will follow at the Brandon Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Calvary Temple Building Fund, 620-34th Street, Brandon, MB, R7B 2R5 or the Heart & Stroke Foundation, Unit 3-824-18th Street, Brandon, MB, R7A 5B7.
