Obituary of Lena Bernadette Tacan

TACAN: Peacefully on Wednesday, October 5, 2016 Lena Tacan passed away with her family by her side at the Portage District General Hospital at the age of 58 years. Lena was predeceased by her father Victor; husband Ernie; and grandparents. Lena will lovingly be remembered by her children: Mary (Mark); Serena (Garry); Gina (David); Toni; and Victor (Ashley); grandchildren: Tyson; Nathan; Candace; Kaley; Blair; Shaston; Alexa; Natalie and Taya; mother Marina and her siblings: Valerie; Sharon (Dennis); Carl (Maxine); Vince (Ann-Marie); Anthony (Leaha); Teresa; Kevin (Debra); Michael (Amanda); Desmond (Marci); Dennis (Lola); Cindy and Bill; in-laws: Joyce (Wayne); Myrna; Howard (Theresa); numerous grandchildren; nieces and nephews; family members and friends. Our family would like to give special thanks to the staff of DOTC and Yellowquill College, whom all became family to our mother. We would also like to give thanks to the wonderful health professionals at the Portage District General Hospital. A Wake will be held at the Sioux Valley Veterans Hall on Saturday October 8, 2016 at 5:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at the Sioux Valley Veterans Hall on Sunday October 9, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. All are welcome to attend. We would like to thank everyone for all the love and support our family is receiving.
