Just a note to extend deepest sympathy to you, Donalda. I can remember many clogging lessons, demos at nursing homes in Brandon and travelling out of town as well; Walter had lots of patience and always made it fun. I showed Larry, who wasn't in my life in those days, a video of all of us clogging (many years ago) and he was quite amazed. Those were great memories! I also remember looking after the caretaking duties at the Church for a short time; it was in winter but I got off lucky with no big snowfalls to shovel! I should have put that one on my resume, ha, ha!
I pray that God will surround you with His love, comfort and cherished memories to sustain you. Please know that many were proud to call Walter a friend, a mentor and he was cherished and will be sorely missed.

Very sad to hear that Walter has passed, He was a great person, I wanted to share a time I had with him in Gilliam when he was a co-op manager there in 1977. He showed me how to barbecue a T bone steak perfectly med-rare. It was the best steak I ever tasted. I thought there would be another chance to meet up with Walter again and was hoping to do so. I will miss you.

Our memory of Walter is how he worked degilently beside all his staff in the Deloraine Co-op. A great asset in a good boss!
I met up with Walter in Brandon Canadian Tire not so very long ago. He always has time to chat with friends and acquaintances. Our condolences to the Bonkowski family. Walter will be missed by many.

Donalda, My heart is so heavy with sadness after finding out "My Wonderful Walter" was gone. You both have been such a special part of my life for so many years - wonderful memories.
