Shocked and saddened to learn of Nancy's passing. We were neighbors for many years while my kids were growing up. Lot's of visits, my boys and their dad would help a little with lawn care and fall clean up, plowing snow and having tug-of-wars with those darn beavers. I also remember the time Nancy and I took after an entire family of skunks. Oh how we laughed. We will miss you, Nancy.

Nancy and I have a long history together, we started in Grade 1, went all through school, attended Brandon College and roomed together, then we moved to Winnipeg where we attended Business College. I was a bridesmaid at her wedding, and we always enjoyed getting together for a good gabfest.

I have my fingers on the keyboard thinking of all those F-G-F-G-F-G typing lessons...thankyou for teaching all us kids to type. Who could have ever imagined the influence computers would have on our lives?
Mrs. Stephenson was a true teaching professional. I look back fondly on her classes and appreciate the effort she put into preparing us for life beyond high school. And long after high school, she was always genuinely interested in how things were going and what I was doing.
She was proud of her farm and proud of her extended family, my condolences to all.
God Bless you Mrs. Stephenson, may you rest in peace.

This wonderful woman was my teacher and was very much respected by all students. She always had time to give a helping hand to anyone that required help. She shaped the minds of many a student and always enjoyed hearing from former students and to hear of their achievements. She will be missed by many. A great loss.

Nancy will be missed, I was lucky enough to have her as a close neighbor, and school teacher, and a resident at Rivers Personal Care. She was a good friend to my grandma and to our family. I loved her dry sense of humour, and she would tell you straight out if she liked it or didn't like it. Nancy was one of a kind! Rest easy Nancy

She was a big part of our family, helping us celebrate birthdays, holidays and many Christmas suppers - not to mention enjoying pies after the Library Pie Social. I never got out of the habit of calling her Mrs. Stephenson, as she taught me in high school, but my husband called her Nancy and my children called her Aunt Nancy. It didn't really matter what we called her, we just always enjoyed calling on her. We will miss her in so many ways, and thank heavens we have so many good memories to fall back on!
