I will always remember the time we went to Joey's fish and chips and you would order the all you can eat special! We would pay and leave but, of course, you would still invite us over for pizza after, you were such an amazing caring big hearted man, I wish we could still eat endless fish and chips with you.

Was just shocked to hear of Dave's passing. I was a passenger on his handi transit bus a few times. From the little I knew of him he was a very kind person with a kind heart and empathy for others. One of the good ones. He will be missed by those that loved and cared about him

Dave was one of those rare people who just wanted to help those who needed it. I was on exercise with him in 92 and had forgotten my inner sleeping bag and it was -30 at night for the whole week. Dave noticed after the second night that I was waking up to get the lantern refilled and was fully clothed. He told me to use his bag the next night to get a good sleep. He was that sort of person, the world has lost a bright light and is a bit darker for it. Rest in peace Dave. My deepest sympathies to all of Dave's family on your loss.
