Josie was a mother, a sister, a friend. To me, she was an amazing aunt. She was a kind and generous person and always looked out for others and their wellbeing. Despite not having much, she would give you the shirt off her back and continue to offer more.
My Dad, Mom and I will miss her coming over every weekend just to talk and have fun with our family. We will miss the movie nights, the hikes up in the Brandon Hills and the afternoon adventures to the lake. But most of all, we will miss her presence and the happiness she brought along with her wherever she went.
Josie, we hope you're still rocking that amazing attitude and compassionate soul beyond this life. We love you and miss you very much.

Good bye Sis
How does one say
Good bye to a sister
The first one you shared
Intimate secrets,stories
And dreams
I close my eyes
And see her smile
Hear her voice
Hear her laugh
Where once there were nine
Now eight remain to carry on
I have yet to find
Peace in my heart
Knowing your gone,
Saying goodbye is easy
But accepting
In my heart
Is unbearable
Rest in Peace Sis,,,,,,,Love you

I used to work with Josie at 7 Eleven on 10th street. We always had such a blast!! I am not too sure who talked more...her or me!!! And laugh!!! Oh my, laugh.....we laughed so hard, and so often...our bellies and mouths hurt!! What one didn't think of, the other one did! The last time I saw her, we were to have a coffee date, sadly we wont have it! Josie, you are a "rockstar"....keep the party going, and I will catch ya later girlfriend!!! RIP

When she moved back to Manitoba for Linda & I's wedding, she lived with us. Anyway, I'm a video game junkie, I admit it. Priceless moment is one day her and Linda are having there usual mother, daughter lady talk in the bedroom, and I'm playing a game. Josie comes out and then she's just standing watching me play then asks a few questions and then sits down and starts watching me playing. About 20 min. go by, Linda comes out, asks mom what's going on, and she shushed her! LOL! She got caught up in the story line of the game, "Uncharted 2: Among Thieves". Then any time I wasn't busy and not playing it, she would ask me to so she could continue watching. I LOVE MY MOTHER-IN-LAW!!!!!!
