This memory will go back to 1950's when Howard and Jean ran a store in Dand, Manitoba. Not sure how I remember this but we used to sneak away from school grounds at noon hour with absolutely no money in our pockets and go to the store...Jean would always greet us with a smile and dig deep into the candy jar and give us free candy..! We thought we had a million dollars given to us...always kind, friendly and interested what was happening at the school. May the family cherish and celebrate the memories, values Jean demonstrated everyday.
