Mom was born in Glasgow, Scotland to Adam and Margaret McDougall. During the Second World War, she worked at the shipyards in Glasgow. She left Scotland and came to Canada in the late 1940's where she met and fell in love with our Dad. They were married on December 22, 1950 and had 50 years together before he left us. While Dad served in the Canadian Armed Forces, they were stationed at several Canadian Bases as well as Germany. Mom worked at the messes while they were in Shilo, Manitoba. In 1973, Dad retired from the service and they moved to B.C. for a year before they returned to Manitoba to reside in Brandon. In 2008, Mom moved to Moose Jaw to live with her daughter Margaret where she stayed until her passing. Mom enjoyed travelling to different countries, bingo, visiting her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She enjoyed meeting different people and had one very special friend, Lois Burke, who she would talk to and write to every month. She will be sadly missed by all her children and family.
