I worked at the Deloraine Lab & X-Ray Department and Jim picked up our lab samples and X-rays every day for many years. He was always so pleasant and I liked having a chat with him when he came. He often talked about his daughter and of Phyllis. Maybe you remember that I saw you both in the hospital a few years back while I was visiting a friend at BRHC. I am sorry for your family's loss.

Phyllis,
I remember you and I working at Westman Lab like it was yesterday (although it has been many many years; too many for us to want to count). Jim had a wonderful personality and it was always a pleasure to be greeted by his never-ending smile. I hope that fond memories help to ease your grief. Sending you lots of hugs and prayers. Take care.

My deepest sympathy Phyllis and family. Jim was such a happy person whenever you saw him at Westman lab or when picking up samples at the lab & x-ray units. He was never impatient with us if he had to wait for a sample to finish spinning in the centrifuge that needed to be in the box. His last few years have been a challenge but I hope you have some happy memories to sustain you. Hugs to you.

Jim was one of my favorites at Fairview. Absolutely made my day when I could get a smirk or a smile out of him. I knew it was gonna be a good day if he could answer my question about how he was today. He had a smile that would light up a room and such a wonderful dedicated wife. Although I am sad to see Jim pass on I am sure family will feel relief in the fact that it is over for him. He is at peace. Take care Phyllis and family.

Phyllis and family, I read of Jim's passing and it made me think of his smile early in the morning as he headed out from the lab and that same smile when he returned in the afternoon. A great guy -- no wonder you were attracted to him! I am thinking of you and sending you a hug!

Dearest Phillis my deepest condolences to you and your family. There are certain residents that tug at your heart strings and Jim was that person to me. Will miss those beautiful blue eyes and that quirkie smile that I sometimes would be lucky to get from him. Will also miss your kind greetings every time I saw you.

To Phyllis and family, we are so sorry for your loss. Jimmy was a gentle soul who was quick to smile and he was well liked by all the staff at the lab, especially me. I always took the chance to talk with Jim whenever he arrived at the lab with his truck and I still remember those times fondly. We hope that happy memories sustain you at this difficult time.
With love, Gordon and Marie Matheson
