Sorry to hear about the passing of Merv. I will miss the comedy and laughter we had at meat house for years. I know Mervin had not hunted in a while but still think of all the good time we had when he did.

Yes dad never had a dull moment with us and our friends. Dad was a wonderful guy with a great sense of humour. It was a shock for us all. He was suffering but it was still hard to let him go.

I remember when me and popa would go fishing at oak lake and whenever he had a big pike (jack fish) on he would yell out Jesus Murphy as his reel would be peeling drag, when he would get them in he would throw it back and say "go back Uncle Jack"
