To the Strong family on behalf of Naomi Rebekah Lodge #6 of Brandon I would like to express our sincere condolences on your loss. Kay was a beautiful feisty woman who came into my life when I was a young girl.My mother and I took the bus to Oakville after the family moved from Letellier....spent a few days ...being royally spoiled. Larry boarded at my mom and dad's when he was stationed at Canada Customs in Emerson,a time they truly enjoyed.Mom took the bus, hopped in with my husband and I,and once she got her drivers licence ,drove herself to Brandon....the friendship endured. I will always cherish her friendship, her open arms for a hug....what a hug!God bless you ...take care. Deb Bissonnette {Derksen} Letellier Mb.

My sincerest sympathy to the family..
I was not aware of her passing as out east and would have been there otherwise.
Aunty Kay was kind, compassionate, social, and there for all.
We did our best to see here when we could and vise versa...
Sadly missed but in a better place with the Lord
Love and thinking of you

Sincerest sympathy to my great Aunty Kay's family. She sheltered me in Brandon when I needed a home to restart a job and go to College. She is the link of where I met my husband Ted over 30 years ago and always had a $20 bill to hide in my pocket when visiting her from the east to say "you might need this" for the journey back to Ontario.
I will never forget her home made chicken soup with egg noodles either and the conversation of everything at her tiny kitchen table.
All our love and God's blessings are with you Nelson , Colleen and Larry
