Obituary of Linda Branconier

BRANCONIER: Linda (nee Burns) passed away unexpectedly on Friday, August 4, 2017 at the age of 69 years. Linda was born in Lac du Bonnet, MB on March 22, 1948. Linda will be lovingly remembered by her brothers Thomas (Laurie) Burns and Robert (Norma) Burns. Also surviving are nephew Craig (Jill) Burns and their children Sydney and Riley; niece Christa (Greg) Gitzel and their children Noah and Ethan and niece Susan (Harbinder) Benning and their daughter Annika. Linda was predeceased by her husband Emile and her parents Thomas and Jean. She will be missed by her aunt, many cousins and a circle of friends. Linda worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse, first in Winnipeg at Tuxedo Villa and, after moving to Brandon, at Fairview Home Inc. After retirement, she volunteered at Westman Hospice Association. She also served on the hospice board of directors. Linda was an avid reader and was never happier than while reading a good book. She enjoyed working on word puzzles and word searches. She was a fan of television programs from the United Kingdom, especially Coronation Street. Linda was a great lover of cats. Throughout her life, she always had a feline companion. At Linda's request, a private family graveside service will be held.
