We wish to extend our sincerest sympathies to the entire Kirkpatrick families. Some memories of Leona was that she was kind, had a gentle presence and a caring disposition. I remember a few of our conversations revolved around horses. She always had a friendly smile and took the time to talk to people. She was a hospitable and gracious lady who always made me feel welcome. Leona was a tireless volunteer for the Cancer Society and the community, numerous people benefited from from her generous efforts and dedication. We are very sorry for the loss of your dear loved one, precious Leona. Sincerely sympathy from the Lumb Family.

Neil and family. I was so sorry to hear of Leona's passing. She was such a lovely, caring lady. I quite often saw her during my visits to Uncle Doug Weir and Aunt Hazel. Leona always dropped in to check up on them or just to have a visit and cup of tea. I am going to post a picture of one of those times. Thoughts and prayers to all. Lynn (Harvey) Handregan.

Such a sad day hearing about the sudden passing of Leona Catherine (Hodson) Kirkpatrick. Leona was the "Historian" of the Hodson Family, always ready for a debate, the "Oldest of the Hodson Cousins", always enjoyed a get together with family, being with her cousins and her friends. Leona was a Professional in her Career. She was strong minded and incredibly dedicated to her family, extended family, friends and especially her "Horses"...
Leona was always ready for a visit and we could always expect the "Christmas Phone Call". She was the matriarch of our family. Leona will be greatly missed. Our thoughts and cares are extended to Neil, Brad, Colin, Sandy and their extended families.
