TAYLOR: Margaret R. Taylor of Rivers, MB, widow of the late Frank D. Taylor, passed away peacefully at Riverdale Personal Care Home on Monday, January 15, 2018 at the age of 101 years. Margaret was born on August 30, 1916 to John and Mary Moore in the Rm of Daly growing up with her three sisters and living her entire life in the area. She finished high school in Rivers and spent the next few years helping her family on the farm. Marg and Frank were married in 1937 and began their life working together in the community and the Taylor family business. They raised two daughters Sandra and JoAnn. With Frank's involvement in business and local politics, they were well known in the community and attended and hosted many events. Marg enjoyed sports, playing softball with her best friend Marg (Scotty) Wareham and winning the Riding Mountain National Park Championship twice in 1939 and 1940.
