To Shirley's family. I hate google when it shows me something like this.
Shirley & I made contact about 20 years ago when I was researching the family. We wrote letters and Bill & I visited her while she & Roy were living on the farm.
I knew they had moved to Brandon but did not have an address and regret that I didn't search for one. I had intended a trip to Manitoba this year & she was on my mind.
Time passes all too quickly!
Sincere condolences from Bill & Pat Dales

Brenda,Lynn, Lea-Anne and your families..Don and I were so sorry to learn of your loss of Shirley. Having grown up in Souris we knew of the Logan's at Carroll, but really didn't know Roy and Shirley until we met up at the Cedarwood in Sidney,BC. We spent so many good times with them when we spent retirement vacations together over the years at the Cedarwood. Roy liked to drive and we explored a lot of Vanc.Is.with them. Shirley introduced me to every antique store in Victoria..she had an unusual sense of beauty and worth..her China cabinet must hold so many memories for you all. When we visited Shirley in September, she talked of maybe coming west this year..We shall miss our friend Shirley. May you all find comfort in your memories of how very much she loved you all. To The Family of Shirley Logan:
So sorry for your loss. I was fortunate to see Shirley by accident at Victoria Landing and we agreed we would have a visit when weather improved. I so regret that never happened. She had an infectious smile, genuine interest - a joy to know. May the many wonderful memories comfort you.

Dear Brenda, Corny, Trav and family: We are thinking of you as you mourn the loss of your Mother and Grandmother.
Brenda, we have fond memories of sharing a Christmas in Dauphin with you, Trav, Shirley and Roy. I also remember visits with them when they had their summer home in Killarney. Take comfort in knowing that you were a tower of strength to both your Mother and Father. With love, Donna and Ernie.
