Obituary of Ivor Jenks

JENKS: Ivor passed away peacefully, with family by his side, at the Brandon Regional Health Centre on Sunday, March 4, 2018 at the age of 82 years. Ivor was born in Dauphin, Manitoba on June 15, 1935. He moved to Brandon at a young age and worked at The Brandon Sun. Ivor loved golfing, traveling and wintering in Mesa, Arizona. A Graveside Service will be held at Rosewood Memorial Gardens on Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at 1:30 p.m. with Funeral Celebrant, Kim Lewarne, officiating. For those wishing to attend the graveside, the procession will leave Brockie Donovan Funeral Home, 332-8th Street, at 1:15 p.m. A reception will follow the graveside service at the George Brockie Fellowship Centre (Brockie Donovan Funeral Home). In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Ivor may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 415-1st Street, Brandon, MB, R7A 2W8.
