Obituary of Shirley Numrich

NUMRICH: Shirley Numrich passed away peacefully at her residence, Fairview Home, on Friday, March 23, 2018 at the age of 84 years. Shirley grew up in Brandon where she raised her four children, Carolyn, Wendy, Loree and Lionel. She married the love of her life, Clarence, on December 23, 1983. During her lifetime, Shirley worked at Safeway and Woolworths. She enjoyed canning, baking, sewing, yard sales, auctions, gardening, travelling and visiting Sportsman's Park. Shirley loved spending time with her family and friends, and she especially looked forward to their Sunday suppers. She was also very fond of her dogs, Pebbles, Mitsy and Sparkey. Shirley will lovingly be remembered by her husband Clarence Numrich; children Carolyn Pickel (Ian), Wendy Chyz (Bryon), Loree Bradshaw (Doug), Lionel Bradshaw; step-children Kelly Numrich (Jane), Terry Numrich (Maribel) and Laura Brown. Shirley also leaves to mourn numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. She was predeceased by her parents Mae and Harold Houck, sister Dorothy Evans, brother Ken Houck and step-son, Scott Numrich. A Time of Viewing and Visitation will be held at Brockie Donovan Funeral Home, 332-8th Street, on Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. A Celebration of Shirley's Life will be held at the Brockie Donovan Chapel on Thursday, March 29, 2018 at 2:30 p.m. with Funeral Celebrant, Kim Lewarne, officiating.
