Obituary of Michelle Marie Klyne

KLYNE: Michelle Marie Klyne. It is with great sadness we announce that Michelle lost her long battle with kidney disease on April 19th, 2018 at the Brandon Assiniboine Centre, with her family by her side. Michelle was predeceased by her brother Leonard Jr. She was born October 14th, 1971 to Leonard Klyne and Catherine Dezeng. Michelle grew up in the Portage area making many friends along the way. She furthered her education in Calgary for accounting. She had an adventurous soul. She could make anyone smile with her infectious laugh. She could sing beautifully…Dad always said "the voice of an Angel." Michelle was a Daddy's girl and any chance she had to sing with Dad she took it. She loved to sing and often went to karaoke nights. She was also a proud Manitoba Metis and she loved her Metis culture and all it had to offer, especially the music. Brandon, Manitoba is where she made her life. She had a great support system of friends and medical personnel. Michelle met Jeremy 19 years ago and fell head over heels. They shared many adventures together over the years, some planned, some spur-of-the-moment. They could always make a great time together and it was time well spent. Michelle will be lovingly remembered also by her Dad and Mom (Lauri), Catherine Dezeng (Mother), brothers Jason, Cory (Bev), sisters Amanda, Leonora (Dustin), Rachel, Tracy (George), Theresa (Stephen). Beloved nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends she considered family. A service for Michelle will be held on Saturday, May 5th, 2018 at the Brockie Donovan Chapel, 332 8th Street, Brandon, Manitoba at 1:00 p.m. Donations in memory of Michelle may be made to the Kidney Foundation of Canada, PO Box 20077 South PO, Brandon, MB R7A 6Y8.
