To Eli, Sharon, Corey and families, I just found out about Ryan's passing this past weekend and I was so sorry to hear about it. Ryan was always a character when he was with us travelling for baseball or hockey. He was definitely an asset on any team he played on. He will definitely be missed by all. Take care. Barb Jay (Bell)

Miss you Brother.
The memories we shared are always going to be with me for my lifetime. Only 2 Poohs to pull off a hidden ball trick during a men's league game. Its been awhile but you have never left my heart. 2 days ago Big Pun came on radio and i believe that was you. Never heard that song on radio and was your song. All of our song. Always be in my heart with me buddy. Always.
Words do not express my sadness or frustration.
Love you pooh
Forever be with me

You won't remember me, but I remember Ryan because he was in my very first class; grade 6! As a teacher you never forget your first class!
He was a nice boy; the athlete and jokester of the group. So sorry for your loss...

Want to send my condolences and thoughts to Sharon, Eli, Corey and Ryan's children and extended family.
Sincy and I played together 12 months a year for my entire childhood both on the ice, and on the diamond.
His personality was infectious, and the success were shared together in sports, pailed in the memories we made in the lockeroom, dugout and on the road trips!
His ability to lighten the mood, keep us on our toes with his big laugh and constant smile made him a special teammate and friend.
While we haven't been face to face for over a decade, I'm sure if I would have walked into a bar and saw him, we would have hugged it out and picked up right where we left off!
Rest easy Big Sincy, we all loved being in your presence.

Ryan was a neighbor when we were school aged. He used to piggy-back me home from school when I had no one to walk with. He always had a smile for everyone. As an adult, he would never turn the other cheek, always stopped to talk. He had a great sense of humour and was a friend to everyone. He will be greatly missed. My heart goes out to his family and friends.

I played hockey with Ryan (Sinky as he was known to us) and baseball. He was a really skilled hockey player growing up. He had one a the best shots when we were kids, before half of us could even raise the puck. Later on he would use that big body of his and at times you couldn't get the puck off of him. I can still clearly remember winning the Atom Provincial Championship together and I continued to play with him in Brandon until Bantam. We also played baseball together and were teammates when we went to P.E.I for Pee Wee nationals for Team Manitoba. He could hit bombs! Later in life, my friends had a house near his during university. Sometimes we would both be out in the back yards and if we heard them, we would go over and say hi and have a beer. He was always a good friend to me and I'm really sorry to hear about his passing and my thoughts are with his family and children. -Dave Bonk

The wonderful thing about attending Neelin high school was that everyone knew each other. Ryan was especially known for being super outgoing and always smiling. I have lots of fond memories of him and I'll always remember him as being a big loveable guy. I'm so sorry to hear he is gone, my thoughts and prayers are with his family.

My clearest memory of Ryan although quite long ago is him wearing a triple A jacket and perched on that half wall at Neelin. I'm not even sure if you were allowed to sit there or if anyone else tried but he was always there. There was no lunch room stress for sincy he never worried about what table to sit at or anything like that. He sat there and called out to everyone. Well liked and loved to have fun and laugh. I'm sure the ripple effect of his passing is far larger than he would have realized. My thoughts are with his kids, parents, friends and extended family as I remember fondly about an old friend.
