Obituary of Cheryl Marie Laity

LAITY: (née Pottinger). We are sad to announce that after a lengthy battle with cancer Cheryl, aged 53, passed away peacefully at the Assiniboine Centre, Brandon on Tuesday, September 4, 2018. Cheryl will be lovingly remembered by her husband Sean, sons Andrew (Danielle) and Darren. Cheryl also leaves her two beloved grandchildren Lucas and Remi, her mother Muriel Pottinger and siblings Warren (Sheree), Deborah, Darren, Marlene (Dennis), Pamela (Jim) and many nephews, nieces and great nephews and nieces. Cheryl was predeceased by her father Cecil, brother Garry and sisters Marilyn Hamm and Vera Pottinger. Cheryl lived a full and active life going with her family to military postings, in Canada and in Europe. Upon her return to Shilo, Cheryl worked for many years as a Custodial Cleaner on base. Cheryl most loved spending time with her family and also enjoyed a good game of bingo. A Celebration of Cheryl's Life will be held at the Brandon Cemetery Columbarium on Monday, September 10, 2018 at 1:00 p.m.
