To Ann, Allison, Susan and families-
We were saddened to hear of Winnie's passing last week. She will be missed!
We know your parents from Pelican Point Beach and Pelican Yacht club events. Your parents along with Don and Helen Boyle were early owners to establish cottages in the area, and Winnie was integral in establishing the shelter belt at the top of the hill, a land mark that we note every time we drive to the cabin.
It was wonderful to reacquaint ourselves each spring discussing our winter activities and what the summer might hold for cabin renewal and children's activities, especially sailing.
I especially remember listening to music wafting up from the Baird's cabin- always beautiful and not out of place in the relaxing natural environment of the beach.
We miss Harold and will miss Winnie as well.
In sympathy, The Boyle family

My sympathy to Winnie family. I sat beside Winnie in the church choir, I miss her friendship. She also got me to join the songbirds, as well. You have lost both parents in such a short time, may God grant you strength as you go through this time of bereavement.

We first met Winnie at Pelican Lake in 1999 and absolutely adored her. She was a beautiful, remarkable lady. She enjoyed a long life well lived. Winnie will be wonderfully remembered. Did not know about the ukulele...kudos... so Winnie!

Ann, Allison and Susan,
I was so sad to hear of your Mum's passing. She always had a smile and was keen to know what I was up to. I feel lucky to have her butter tart recipe and will think of her when I make them this Christmas! I will miss seeing her when I am back in Brandon.
Your family has had a sad time these past two years. Please know I am thinking about you all.
Take the best of care.
Love,
Rachel Taylor
