Obituary of Donna Dodd-Manson

DODD-MANSON: Donna Lea Dodd passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, November 2, 2018 at the age of 67 years. Donna was born in Brandon on February 4, 1951, where she lived most of her life. She is lovingly remembered by her two children, Grady Manson and his daughter Easton; and Canda (Steve) Monita and their children Avery and Jace; brother Shane Dodd and his children Blake and Curtis; sister Loree (Rick) Osudar and their children Amber (Dean) Selinger and Wade (Kristen) Osudar, as well as many extended family and friends. Donna was predeceased by her parents, "Buff" Dodd (Enid) and Lois Duffield (Ted). Donna was a devoted mother and grandma (Uma) to her family. She was both a great hockey and swim mom to her children. She took pleasure in spending time with family and friends. She was a talented artist and an avid scrap booker. Donna enjoyed many summers spent at Clear Lake and loved hot holidays to the states, including Hawaii, Arizona and Florida as well as the Cayman Islands and Mexico. She loved travelling to new places creating many treasured memories. In her younger years, she enjoyed speed swimming, scuba diving, water skiing, curling and bowling. A Celebration of Donna's Life will be held at Brockie Donovan Chapel, 332-8th Street, on Thursday, July 25, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Craig Miller officiating. Urnbearers will be Grady Manson and Canda Monita. A time of fellowship will take place at the George Brockie Fellowship Centre, followed by a private family interment. Donations in memory of Donna may be made to a charity of choice.
