Dear Johnny, Bonnie and family: So sorry I was unable to attend Daphne's service today but I want you to know that you were in my thoughts. What a lovely, gentle, kind lady she was. I have many wonderful memories of both your Mom and Dad when they came to live on seventh street so many years ago before either of you were born. We had many great times with them along with all the rest of the wonderful neighbors. The last time I saw Daphne was at St. Mary's Church tea and she told me she was moving to Winnipeg to be nearer to you two. It was such a pleasure for Russ and myself to have known both your parents and also to have known you two as you were growing up. Farewell dear Daphne......may you rest in peace.
