Valerie Collins Northam posted a condolence

Mom is loved dearly by Tom and Val Northam and sons: Caleb, Marshall, Nash and Dennis. We enjoyed having mom and dad live beside us at Harmonie Hillside Ranch at Rural Rapid City. We miss mom and grama as the boys called her, very much. She will be remembered as quietness and confidence being her strength. She is also remembered as a woman of faith and endurance. Her grandfather and grandmother raised her as a bible believing Christian. Her grandmother played the harp and we picture great grama playing harp music in Heaven to the family of God.
Mom loved horses and I picture her with white horses grazing on the green pastures beside her mansion home. I see pure water flowing from God's throne, quenching everyone's thirst as well as the horses. I picture streets of gold and Jesus lighting Heaven with His presence and the darkness dispelled by His light. No more tears or fears. No more pain, just gain for mom. The presence of evil cannot enter the pearly gates of Heaven, so tranquility is experienced always and forever. I see the most brilliant colours in Heaven with Heavenly musicians playing and singing in praise and worship. I see angel armies and God's children clothed in robes of righteousness, white and pure. I see mom's new name written down in glory and her walking through fields of beautiful flowers. I can smell the aromatic fragrance.
I picture mom surrounded by family who love her and I see her lying down in green pastures with the horses, ar rest. I see Jesus holding her in His warm, tender embrace. She is forever comforted by Him. He has wiped away every fear and every tear from her eyes. She is forever, blessed!
I love you, mama.
We love you, Shirley, grama.
Until we join you in that place, now called home. You are at peace, at last.
