Obituary of Mary Lillian Macpherson

MACPHERSON: Mary Lillian Macpherson passed away peacefully at Dinsdale Personal Care Home on Thursday, March 21, 2019 at the age of 92 years. She is survived by her husband, Campbell; daughters Desiree (Barrie) and Heather (Randy) and son James; grandchildren Melanie {Bryan), April, Erin (Jon) and Lori (Josh); 12 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. Mary is also survived by her sister Greta, sister-in-law Elma, and Campbell's sisters, Margaret (Bob) and Shirley (Don). Mary was predeceased by her grandson Christopher, sister Hazel and brothers Norman and Wilf. Mary was born on December 6, 1926 to Herman and Margaret Neufeld in HochfeId, MB. Mary enjoyed cooking, painting, knitting, gardening as well as golfing, bowling and playing bridge and cribbage. She also loved to sing old hymns, to play the organ and wear the latest in fashion. A celebration of Mary's life took place on Saturday, March 30, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Brockie Donovan with interment at the Brandon Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Mary may be made to Dinsdale Personal Care Home, Recreation Department, 510 6th Street, Brandon, MB R7A 6S9.
