Obituary of Jeanne Boutilier

BOUTILIER: Jeanne Boutilier passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on Thursday, June 13, 2019 at the age of 85. She was predeceased by her parents Paul and Flora Addison, brothers Rocky (Mary) and Paul (Gail) Addison and sister-in-law Diana Addison. She will be forever lovingly remembered by her children Mike (Shari), Richard (Yvonne), David (Karen), Susan, Nancy (Gord), Tammy (Tyler), 13 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and her siblings Madeleine (Marcel), Louis, and Albert Addison. Thank you to Dr. Grobb and Dr. Kitz for your special care of Jeanne as well as all ER staff for the compassionate care given to Jeanne and her family. Also, a heartfelt thank you to the staff at the Hillcrest Personal Care Home for the excellent care Jeanne received. She truly enjoyed being a member of the Hillcrest family and especially loved visiting family, friends, and fellow residents during mix and mingle. Special thanks to Father Dominic Yuen as Celebrant during services held at St. Augustine's Church on June 18, 2019. There are four kinds of people in the world, those who have been caregivers, those who are currently caregivers, those who will be caregivers, and those who will need a caregiver. Jeanne's true essence was that of caregiver as she provided care to family, friends, daycare children, foster children, boarders, people with mental health issues, as well as those with intellectual disabilities. Jeanne devoted her life to that as caregiver only to be given care in the end.
