Obituary of Debbie McLaughlin

MCLAUGHLIN: Mary Debbie Florence (nee Boyer) McLaughlin passed away peacefully, at the Brandon Regional Health Centre, on Wednesday, November 27, 2019 at the age of 60 years. Debbie was born in Ellice, Manitoba (St. Lazare), on October 27, 1959. Debbie grew up in St. Lazare, Manitoba and attended the Roman Catholic School, then moved to Oak River in her teen years before settling in Brandon with her husband, Doug McLaughlin. Debbie worked for many years at the Brandon Mental Health Centre, transferring to Rideau Park Personal Care Home before retirement. For all who knew Debbie, she was well known for her big heart, opening her home to family and friends throughout the years. Family was everything to Debbie, and she enjoyed having everyone together. Debbie is survived by her children: Crystal, Nicole (Cole) and William, as well as four grandchildren: Dustin, Kaylee, Tadianna and Brock, sisters: Marj, Angela, Stella, Ann, brother Rod, as well as her partner Carl Dovichuck. Debbie is predeceased by her parents Peter and Alice Boyer, six sisters and three brothers. A Celebration of Debbie's life will be held at Brockie Donovan Chapel, 332-8th Street, on Wednesday, December 4, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. Donations in memory of Debbie may be made to the Manitoba Lung Association, 301-1 Wesley Ave, Winnipeg, Manitoba, R3C 4C6.
