Thank you for these kind words, Garda. Mum remembered her time at work fondly, and did really love to share her crocheting and knitting talent.

Dear Frank, Rosemary and families,
I am deeply saddened to hear about Amelia's passing. She was a wonderful friend to me
at St.Hedwig's church and at Victoria Landing just recently. Always so helpful and always
willing to give me a hand. Amelia always had great stories to tell me and always took the
time to listen to mine. I will miss her deeply. Take care....Julia Jason

The Adamski family
So sorry to read of her passing. We worked together in the 'old days'
at BMHC. I remember her as a kindhearted person. Always willing to
share her cooking, recipes and helpful hints to a beginner. My mother was
crocheting a tablecloth for my dining room table when she passed.Amelia
volunteered and completed it for me. I will always be thankful.

Our deepest sympathies to Frank, Diane, Rosemary and their Families
The Adamski's and the Wisniewski's were more than close friends, they were Family. Amelia Adamski and Maria Wisniewski formed a friendship in the refugee camp in Germany; traveled to Canada together; worked together at the Brandon Mental Hospital and kept that friendship strong their entire lives. They did everything together, from gardening to road trips. They intertwined our families for every special occasion and were regular visitors in each other's homes. Just as we were saddened when Maria passed, we are equally saddened that Amelia has left us. We have faith that these two special Polish ladies will find each other once again in the heaven they both cherished. They will be smiling down on us, their Adamski and Wisniewski descendants, who have continued the friendship they started back in 1945.
Joe and Linda Wisniewski, Vernon, B.C.

Frank, Rosemary, and Family: Amelia was a kindhearted wonderful woman, a dear and close friend to my mom and was loved by us all. Sitting on the garden swing when I was a child and listening to our families talk and laugh while working in the garden still warms my heart. I will miss her but mom will be glad to have her friend with her. Our prayers are with you all at this time.

Really missed Amelia at Ania's place at Christmas this year. We enjoyed all her stories each holiday and prepared her favorite Polish dishes. I'm sure they didn't taste as good as her dishes but she always had a good appetite. She never complained about anything, just happy to celebrate life. We'll always remember her as our friend "Aunty".
