My husband, Bill and I, just heard of Rod's passing today (May 16, 2020). We would like
Pat and family to know that we send our deepest sympathies and prayers to them.
We will never forget the happy memories that Rod left us with-his Scottish musical
videos and travelogues, at the Royal Scot Hotel in Victoria; the "snowbirds" enjoyed
the Saturday night "movies" that Rod put on for our enjoyment.
He was a true gentleman and made everyone feel special! He will be truly missed.. Barbara and Bill Carson, Peterborough, Ontario.
Rest in peace, dear friend.

I had the pleasure of getting to know Rod at the Healthy Living Centre. I always looked forward to seeing him every morning with his warm smile and positive outlook. He had a way of making you feel like you were the most important thing to him when he was talking to you. He treated everyone I saw equally. A genuine role model, and will be missed.

Pat and family:
I was deeply saddened to learn the loss of a man whom I so respected, your husband Rod. I knew him most of my life and always admired and respected the way he treated his fellow human beings. Whether it was selling suits at Eaton's, leading a scout troop or working with a service club, Rod always treated people with kindness and respect. He was always involved in the community in so many ways making Brandon a better place to live. Please accept my most sincere condolences for your loss and may God give you His comfort in your time of grief.
Brian Marshall,
Saanichton, BC
