Obituary of Raymond Edward Bukaluk

BUKALUK: Raymond Bukaluk ("Bucky") of Brandon, Manitoba, passed away on February 26, 2020, peacefully in his sleep. He will be missed by his wife of 52 years, Marlene, daughter Jacqueline and her husband Todd Smith, grandchildren Ryan, Eric and Steven Smith, and sister Shirley (Dave) Wilson and their family. He was predeceased by his sister Gladys (Peter) Harkot, his mother Alice (Gregorash), and father Alexander. Ray was born in Brandon and was involved with fastball, hockey, and broomball over the years. An avid sports fan, he enjoyed watching the Wheat Kings, the Jays, the Twins and the Jets. He saw many students pass through Crocus Plains where he worked for 30 years. Ray will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. A Farewell Gathering will be held in Brandon in the spring.
