Obituary of Pierre Ricoine

RICOINE: Pierre Olivier (1933-2020) In the late evening of Friday, May 8, 2020 Pierre Olivier Ricoine passed away at the Brandon Regional Health Centre. Born in Vignolles, France Pierre was one of seven children of the late Jean and Olive Ricoine. As a young man he immigrated to Canada. Shortly after his arrival he was joined here by his brother Marcel and his sister Nadége (Daniel) Krause with whom he maintained warm relationships over the decades. Predeceased by these two siblings and two older sisters and their spouses, Mireille and Jeanine, he leaves to mourn his passing his beloved wife Margaret, his son John (Roslyn) and two sisters Micheline Bouthy and Marie Desbordes. In accordance with Pierre's wishes, cremation has taken place and a private interment will be held at the family plot in the Hamiota Cemetery at a later date. If friends so desire, donations in memory of Pierre may be made to the Manitoba Lung Association, Box 2040, 1000-2666 Graham Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3A OAO.
